Tilak/TMG

Tilak was founded in 1986 in the Czech Republic by mountaineer Roman Kamler as a manufacturer of sleeping bags. In 1993, the company signed a contract with Gore-tex, and in 2000, Tilak's apparel line was born under the Tilak brand name. In 2001, Tilak signed a contract with Errolson Hugh of ACRONYM, who was renowned for creating innovative and excellent designs even then. Tilak was responsible for the production of apparel lines for Errolson's own brand, "ACRONYM", for many years. Although they now have separate workshops, the partnership between Tilak and ACRONYM continues to this day.
Recognized for its reliable technology, Tilak's products have gained trust and peace of mind in extreme environments, with the company responsible for the apparel of the Czech national mountaineering rescue team, the Czech Mountain Guide Association, Mountain Rescue Service, certain teams in the Czech army, and even the Swiss special police, not just within the Czech Republic.
