Intermediate cold gloves designed for US military airmen and ground troops.

The back of the hand is made of flame-retardant NOMEX, while the palm and fingertips are made of flexible, durable leather. The wrist is ribbed for a snug fit, and the inner lining is padded. These gloves combine flexibility, comfort, and warmth.
Originally developed for flight crews engaged in cold-weather aviation missions, they are now also the standard cold-weather glove for the U.S. Army.
