US military ECWCS GEN III Level 1 top and bottom set.
This base layer is important and basic when layering. If your skin gets wet with a sweaty base layer, your body heat will continue to be taken away no matter how many layers you wear on top. .
Level 1 is made of a thin and smooth polyester material that is worn directly on the skin and quickly absorbs and evaporates sweat to control moisture, making it easy to adjust the temperature and keep you dry and comfortable.
